Assistant Producer
Job Description
Summary: The Assistant Producer will support the Global Project Team in the development and production of Kross Pictures’s international film/television/digital projects, as well as assisting with business development.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and meet with overseas partners to develop co-productions.
- Identify and evaluate high-potential IPs (intellectual property) and assist with acquisition.
- Collaborate on project proposals, packaging, marketing, and related processes.
Skills and Experience
Critical:
- Native-speaker level in English.
- Demonstrated interest in film/television production.
- Bachelor's degree.
Desired:
- Fluency in Korean/Chinese/Japanese is preferred, but not a must.
Salary is commensurate with experience.

Director
Job description
Summary:
- The Director of the Global Project Team will lead all ex-Korea projects produced by Kross Pictures. S/he will report directly to the CEO, and will be responsible for building a slate of film, TV, and digital content for India, China, the U.S., Vietnam, and beyond.
- The successful candidate will be comfortable with both the creative and business sides of the development and production process.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate business deals using financial/legal analysis, face-to-face meetings, and ongoing support of projects.
- Develop market expertise in Kross's primary international territories (India, China, and the U.S.) as well as explore opportunities in other markets.
- Lead the Global Project Team in coordinating between the head office in Seoul and branch offices, as well as external partners.
Skills and Experience
Critical:
- Native-speaker level in English.
- At least 10 years of work experience as a development or creative executive at production companies or studios in English-speaking countries. (Feature films and television series are both acceptable.)
Desired:
- Fluency in Korean/Chinese/Japanese is preferred, but not a must.
- MBA/JD is preferred, but not a must.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
